watchOS Tools and Automation Engineer

Job Description

The Apple Watch team is seeking an Automation Engineer to help drive testing capabilities for watchOS and ensure stable, reliable, and bug-free releases.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, Swift, and Bash
• Experience with Git and codebase management
• Excellent knowledge and experience with test methodologies
• Passion for quality assurance in software
• Experience with developing test strategies
• Ability to investigate, debug, and triage problems
• Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and expand automated UI testing for watchOS
• Drive testing capabilities for all Apple operating systems
• Triage results to find software bugs before customer release
• Enhance testing capabilities for new features
• Work with groundbreaking technology
• Help plan and shape upcoming products
