Wireless Network Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Apple is seeking a Wireless Network Reliability Engineer to design and implement wireless infrastructure across Apple Retail Stores.

Requirements

• Expertise in wireless solutions, including IEEE 802.11 standards, encryption, WIDS, rogue detection, 802.1x, RADIUS, and EAP-TLS
• Experienced in high-density wireless network deployments
• Familiar with various wireless technologies from Cisco, Aruba, Mist Wireless, Meraki Wireless, Cisco ISE, and more
• Proficient with wireless tools such as Spectrum Analyzers, Protocol Analyzers, RF Planning tools, and Site Survey Tools
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6), routing, and switching
• Knowledgeable in wireless client chipset/driver and RF engineering with consideration of regional frequency and power regulations

Responsibilities

• Solve, design, and implement wireless infrastructure across Apple Retail Stores
• Address complex networking challenges as a Tier 3 escalation point
• Collaborate with vendors and partner with Engineering and Architecture to evaluate new technologies
• Drive innovation and deliver solutions to Apple's premier retail stores
