CPU ML Microarchitect/RTL Engineer

Job Description

Apple is seeking an experienced engineer to drive CPU machine-learning accelerator architecture and RTL development for Apple Silicon.

Requirements

• Minimum BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of microprocessor architecture
• Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL
• Experience with simulators and waveform debugging tools
• Knowledge of logic design principles along with timing and power implications

Responsibilities

• Micro-architecture development and specification
• RTL ownership for power, performance, area, and timing goals
• Support verification team in test bench development and functional verification
• Explore high-performance strategies and verify design meets performance targets
• Work with multi-functional engineering team on physical design aspects
