Distinguished Research Scientist – Upstream Process Development

Job Description

Elanco is seeking a Distinguished Research Scientist to lead upstream process development for mammalian cell culture and drive technical innovation in the animal health industry.

Requirements

• PhD in engineering, biochemistry, or other biotechnology related field plus 15 years of industry experience
• Experience working with mammalian cell culture of large molecule product streams
• Legally authorized to be employed in the United States

Responsibilities

• Lead upstream process development for mammalian cell culture, experimental design and analysis
• Drive technical innovation and platform development
• Provide technical leadership and program oversight
• Author and review critical documentation
• Support technology transfer and external partnerships
