CPU Logic Equivalence Check (LEC) Engineer

Job Description

Apple's Silicon Engineering Group is seeking a hardworking engineer for their CPU gate level verification team to ensure CPUs meet the highest standards for functional verification.

Requirements

• Minimum BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience in digital logic design
• Experience with at least one of the following programming languages, TCL, Python, or Perl

Responsibilities

• Own logic equivalence check and sign-off of high-performance CPU projects
• Develop and improve existing flow for logical equivalent check
• Run and sign off block and top level logic equivalence checks, structural gate checks, and low power checks
• Support design team in block level verification runs and debug
• Work closely with design/CAD teams on methodology for verification of new features
• Create scripts to automate verification runs and track results of various verification checks
• Work with CAD team to further develop and enhance verification flows
• Collaborate with tool vendors on new tool features and issues
