Customer Engineer, Platform, Retail Industry

Job Description

As a Customer Engineer at Google Cloud, you will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to customers, develop cloud solutions, engage in proofs-of-concepts, and troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities
• Share Google Cloud to support the technical relationship with customers
• Demonstrate and prototype integrations in customer and partner environments
• Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure to implement complete solutions on Google Cloud
• Lead prospecting and acquisition of new logos, creation and build of customer relationships from scratch
