Manufacturing Test Development Engineer

Job Description

As a Test Development Engineer at Google, you will play a key role in leading cybersecurity activities with external manufacturing partners and internal test development teams, managing OS images and test station hardening features, and driving policy implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in software development, Network, hardware debug or Test Engineering
• Experience working with security policy/process, servers, or network hardware
• Experience with Python software development, coding, BIOS and OS

Responsibilities

• Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to resolve issues
• Define and execute data collection activities for technical issues
• Lead and define the security hardening process and provide instructions to CMs
• Upgrade OS and provide support for periodic hardening updates, network security, remote access
