Silicon Prototyping Engineer

Job Description

Apple is seeking a prototyping engineer to work on complex SOC emulation and development plans.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Understanding of CPU & SOC architecture/design
• Experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, simulation, and debug
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like Unix, Python, C/C++
• Experience with FPGA is a plus
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables

Responsibilities

• Review specifications and develop prototyping plans
• Collaborate with design teams to understand design goals
• Work on Synthesis, Place & Route, and timing optimization
• Develop plans for custom hardware
• Support cross-functional engineering efforts
