Developer Platform Frameworks Engineer

Job Description

Join the Apple Maps Developer Platform team to design, build, and maintain APIs for the MapKit framework and beyond.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer Science and at least 2+ years of software engineering experience in a production environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion to collaborate and iterate on ideas in a cross-functional team
• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and/or Android
• Familiarity with SwiftUI and/or UIKit

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements from clients and translate them into scalable, reliable code
• Design, review, and implement 3rd party developer APIs & Tools
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams
• Develop, launch, and maintain cross-platform features integrating Maps with the Apple ecosystem
