GPU Silicon Validation Engineer

Job Description

Join Apple's GPU Silicon Validation Team to validate the functional operation, electrical behavior, power, and performance of embedded GPUs, ensuring world-class GPUs in the embedded space.

Requirements

• BS + 10 years of relevant experience
• Previous silicon validation experience required
• Experience in C/C++ and one or more scripting languages: python, TCL/expect
• Experience with system and SOC architectures
• Experience with CPU or GPU architectures

Responsibilities

• Define, execute, and communicate plans for GPU functional and electrical testing
• Lead LVcc and margin analysis methodologies and tool development
• Architect validation methodologies for upcoming technology advances and product changes
• Identify and drive improvements in validation and debug methodology and tools
• Lead discussions on manufacturing test suites, debug, and improvements
• Lead fail triage and debug of embedded GPU issues
• Maintain, develop, and improve automation tools for validation and debug
• Configure system HW and SW for silicon validation
