Job Description

The Camera Hardware FA/CA Engineer role at Google involves leading investigations into camera reliability and performance issues, partnering with cross-functional teams, and utilizing investigative techniques to optimize camera module designs and enhance product reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field
• 4 years of experience in failure analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Experience with camera product design and manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Direct camera failure analysis investigations and determine root causes
• Use Design of Experiments (DOEs) to understand failure mechanisms
• Leverage Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support investigations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design, reliability, and manufacturing challenges
• Develop and validate design or process solutions to resolve failures
