iOS Engineer - Home Ecosystem (Frameworks & Services)

Job Description

Join Apple’s Home Ecosystem group as a Software Engineer to develop apps and frameworks on iOS platforms, driving new features for HomeKit Camera experiences.

Requirements

• Proficient in Swift and/or Objective-C and common Apple frameworks and technologies
• Hands-on experience shipping high-quality software with responsive, interactive UI
• Experience creating powerful and concise APIs and broad knowledge of layered software architecture
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and design
• BS in Computer Science, related fields, or relevant professional experience

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement new apps and frameworks in Swift/Objective-C
• Understand product requirements, engage with team members and customers to define solutions
• Write comprehensive unit tests, build test and verification pipelines, and work closely with software integration teams
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, and hiring interviews
