Job Description

The Principal UX Design Engineer role at CoreAI Studio & Outbound Product team involves building world-class demos and crafting compelling stories to showcase Microsoft's advanced AI capabilities.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design
  • Portfolio exhibiting conceptual experience, understanding of design and demo best practices, interactive experience, technical skills and craftsmanship
  • 5+ full-stack development skills with expertise in modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.), deep learning, and cloud platforms
  • Proven track record of using demos and storytelling to drive customer adoption, accelerate product-market fit, and influence purchasing decisions
  • 4+ years experience with Figma

Responsibilities

  • Building flagship demonstrations and interactive experiences showcasing CoreAI, Azure AI Platform, and GitHub capabilities
  • Leading the creation of high-impact demos translating cutting-edge AI research and product features into compelling developer experiences
  • Designing and executing demo experiences that drive product-market fit, accelerate platform growth, and inspire developers to build innovative solutions
  • Mentoring other engineers on demo craft, storytelling techniques, and simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences
  • Building relationships with developer communities, AI research labs, and technology partners through compelling technical content
