Senior Engineer - Design for Test (DFT)

Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a Senior Design for Test (DFT) Engineer to join the Compute Silicon & Manufacturing Engineering (CSME) organization within the Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) team to work on Azure Cobalt and improve hardware manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience, OR Master's Degree AND 4+ years technical engineering experience, OR Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years technical engineering experience, OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in DFT with knowledge of industry standard practices.
• Experience in ATPG, JTAG, Memory BIST, and trade-offs between test quality and test time.

Responsibilities

• Owning block level DFT arch specification documentation & providing Test solutions for increased coverage, optimal design & lower test time.
• Maintaining & enhancing existing DFT tools by tailoring solutions for current and upcoming products.
• Providing test plans, engaging closely with verification engineers, and working on silicon bring-up and yield analysis.
• Collaborating with cross functional teams to establish synergies and optimize Cloud infrastructure.
