Job Description

Reliability Engineer position focusing on low voltage electronics to design reliability into body control modules

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience working on low voltage electronic assemblies in automotive or high-reliability applications
• Proficiency in understanding low voltage systems and electrical components within electric vehicles
• Experience in electrical design, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and component layouts
• Knowledge of applied statistics, statistical software, and reliability software
• Experience with failure analysis techniques and root cause corrective action
• Self-driven individual with strong problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design accelerated test plans for reliability growth
• Optimize requirement setting and test methods based on field usage and environmental conditions
• Lead design FMEA sessions, assess product risks, and drive reliable design choices
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and resolve failures
• Generate process validation test plans and drive root cause corrective action with suppliers
• Provide reliability design guidelines and enable continuous improvement
