Sr. OS Engineering Manager, Evaluation

Job Description

Seeking an experienced/Senior OS Software Engineering Manager to lead a team building an online Experimentation platform for Apple engineers to enhance user experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing teams through organizational change and growth
• Experience leading strategic technical projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of iOS, macOS fundamentals and frameworks, or similar Operating Systems
• Experience with daemon and framework development
• Proven ability to deliver iOS/macOS or similar OS production grade software
• Highly technical, detail-oriented, and willing to drive architecture and solutions
• Experience with one or more of the following languages: Objective-C, Swift, C/C++, etc
• Experience with shipping online Experimentation systems
• Experience with independently networking, learning, and influencing cross-functional teams
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or a related field

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team developing an online experimentation platform for on-device and device/server combined ML workflows
• Develop and grow a strong team of senior systems engineers
• Set vision, multi-year roadmap, and execution plans for the platform
• Attract and develop talent, fostering a technical culture that encourages innovation and collaboration
• Drive engineering quality for the platform
