Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Camera Cleaning

Job Description

Tesla's Supplier Industrialization TLA team is seeking a Supplier Industrialization Engineer specializing in camera cleaning systems. The role focuses on end-to-end product lifecycle management in the supply chain, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality, scalability, and performance of camera cleaning solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Optical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or mechanical engineering with a focus on camera cleaning systems
• Practical experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and fluid dynamic analysis tools
• Expertise in fluid dynamics, mechanical design, and material compatibility assessment
• Solid experience with statistical analysis tools and Six Sigma

Responsibilities

• Conduct and implement Design for Manufacturing for camera cleaning products
• Develop innovative camera cleaning solutions and explore new cleaning technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and travel to supplier locations globally
• Manage supplier performance in quality, delivery, and production capacity
• Lead supplier audits for camera modules and lenses
