Sr. Reliability Engineer, High Voltage Electronics, Semi

Job Description

Tesla is seeking a High Voltage Electronics Reliability Engineer with a strong background in electronics system and component reliability to play a key role in designing reliability into their ground-breaking products.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience working in power electronics/high voltage laboratory testing environment
• PCB Board level experience with the ability to read and communicate PCBA schematics
• Working knowledge of reliability statistics including Weibull analysis
• Self-driven individual with a proven ability to manage parallel tasks effectively

Responsibilities

• Design accelerated test plans for design validation and demonstration of reliability growth
• Optimize requirement setting and test methods based on field usage and environmental conditions
• Generate process validation test plans and drive root cause corrective actions with suppliers
• Lead design FMEA sessions to assess product risks and drive reliable design choices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive resolution for failures
