Base Command Manager Engineer - NVIS NPI

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Base Command Manager (BCM) Engineer to support product deployments and collaborate with Engineering and the Field Organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in HPC/large-scale cluster administration, Linux systems engineering, infrastructure automation, or data center operations
• 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience with NVIDIA Base Command Manager (BCM)
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, cluster management and monitoring tools, and cluster networking concepts
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Act as a key link between engineering and the NVIS field team for cluster deployment and management solutions
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to review and influence design decisions for large-scale, BCM-managed clusters
• Define detailed cluster management requirements and relay them to engineering for successful New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Validate complex cluster configurations including Slurm and Kubernetes orchestrators for performance and scalability
• Support the NPI team by bridging knowledge gaps, tracking progress, and aligning collaborators throughout product development
