GPU Performance Developer Tools Engineer

Job Description

The Metal Developer Tools team at Apple is seeking an engineer to work on the front-end and data processing components of GPU performance analysis developer tools.

Requirements

• Technical BS/MS degree / Equivalent Experience
• Excellent iOS or macOS development experience with Objective-C or Swift
• Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C/C++
• Strong software design, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing front-end UI, data visualization, and data processing components of GPU performance analysis tools
• Writing highly efficient code to process large amounts of profiling data
• Creating intuitive visualizations and user workflows for developers
• Collaborating with software teams to optimize Apple's GPUs from a tools perspective
