Optical Simulation Engineer (Core Camera Technology)

Job Description

The Optical Engineering team at Apple is seeking a Simulation Development Engineer to play a critical role in developing state-of-the-art end-to-end modeling and simulation solutions for Optical Imaging Systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Optics, Imaging Science, Physics, EE, CS, ME, or a relevant field of study
• 3+ years of related work or relevant academic experience
• Programming experience in Python, Matlab, C/C++/C#, or related

Responsibilities

• Developing Optical and Imaging simulation capabilities and applications
• Working with cross-functional team members to develop end-to-end simulation solutions
• Validating simulation pipelines, deploying algorithms, performing data analysis, and generating reports
• Supporting internal simulation tools across projects
