Customer and Partner Solutions Engineering Manager, gTech

Job Description

Lead a team of engineers in building and supporting internal and external facing tools and dashboards for Google's gTech Users and Products Search Real World Journeys team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in working with datasets and SQL/NoSQL, building data pipelines, and applying machine learning.
• 8 years of experience in full stack development across backends like Java, Python, or C++ and front-end including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• 2 years of experience managing client-facing projects to completion and 2 years of experience in a people management or supervisory/team leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of individuals, set and communicate priorities, provide feedback and coaching.
• Oversee data pipeline and full-stack development for web-based tools and reports, incorporate AI/ML technologies.
• Recognize nuances of travel and travel-adjacent industries, work closely with partners to provide solutions.
• Manage cross-functional stakeholders, solicit input, and evolve team strategy to meet future needs.
