CAD Tools Engineer - Schematic Design

Job Description

Apple Hardware Operations is seeking a Customer Success ECAD engineer to support, train, and customize methodologies, vendor tools, workflows, and custom applications utilized in the creation of electrical designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent (Computer/Electrical Engineering) or relevant industry experience
• Knowledge with System and Schematic workflows
• ECAD design tools and workflows
• Proficiency with Linux and shell scripting

Responsibilities

• Support hardware engineering staff through component, System/Schematic design, and simulation workflows
• Identify, triage, and debug Schematic and System workflow related issues
• Develop and deliver training on best practices with regards to Schematic design, verification, and System workflows
• Identify and generate workflow requirements and best practices
• Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and development team to deliver enhancements and solutions
• Leverage AI/ML techniques to facilitate everyday work and solve engineering challenges
