Sr. Manufacturing Equipment Engineer, Powerwall

Job Description

The Sr. Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will be responsible for operating, sustaining, and improving automated manufacturing equipment while leading improvement projects in a high-volume manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and configuration
• Experience with 2D, 3D vision systems
• Experience in commissioning and improving equipment
• 6+ years in a highly automated, high-volume manufacturing facility
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn systems quickly
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Sustain 24/7 production operations
• Lead improvement projects and diagnose equipment failures
• Develop and improve equipment validation procedures
• Train technicians on equipment maintenance
• Create and improve Preventative and Predictive Maintenance documents
• Program PLCs and industrial robots
• Participate in spare part analysis and inventory development
