Requirements

• Strong knowledge of solid mechanics
• Experience in implicit and explicit finite element analysis (FEA)
• Attention to details and commitment to verification/validation
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with passion for creating cutting edge products
• M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Structural Engineering, or similar discipline required along with 3+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Drive the design of products using predictive finite element simulation
• Build and run product models for important design load cases
• Interact closely with the cross functional design team to define new load cases and product level mechanical requirements
• Help test, characterize, and develop new material models
• Close the gaps between simulation and test with highly instrumented tests and rigorous validation
• Fully integrate with the product design team to engineer groundbreaking products
