Software Engineer, Spanner Availability/Scaling

Job Description

Google is seeking software engineers to work on next-generation technologies at massive scale, extending well beyond web search.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
• 2 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve
