Research Scientist Intern, Computational Imaging (PhD)

Job Description

Join the Display Systems Research (DSR) group at Meta Reality Labs Research to work on cutting-edge prototypes and create AR/VR technology.

Requirements

• Experience with geometric optics, physical optics, and diffractive optics, including modeling and simulation
• Experience with optimization or machine learning algorithms
• Experience with scientific programming languages such as MATLAB or Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow

Responsibilities

• Investigate novel computational imaging systems that achieve high performance through a combination of algorithms and optics
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers from a variety of technical backgrounds through all stages of project development
• Publish research results in top-tier journals and at leading international conferences
