Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

Microsoft is looking for a machine learning engineer to design and develop a multi-agent AI Risk system for autonomous risk transaction review and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years related experience
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data science, or machine learning
• 2+ years experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and the OpenAI API
• 2+ years experience with Azure services, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize multi-agent AI architectures for autonomous risk assessment and decision-making
• Implement agentic ML infrastructure for continuous learning and scalable risk decisioning
• Build AI-driven solutions for fraud detection in Commerce scenarios
• Develop MLOps pipelines for continuous training, deployment, and monitoring
• Conduct behavior testing and validation with a focus on performance, safety, and real-world edge cases
• Integrate AI agents with Azure AI services, Microsoft Graph API, Power Platform, and internal systems
• Apply best practices in security, compliance, and privacy to agent development
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate business challenges into technical solutions
