Product Engineer (Mechatronics)

Job Description

KLA is hiring a Product Engineer in Milpitas for Wafer Handler Sustaining Development in the Corporate Platform Group (CPG) Division focusing on automation and handling solutions for semiconductor manufacturing environments.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Software, or related technical field
• Bachelor's Level Degree with 2 years of related work experience
• Experience in designing, building, documenting, or problem-solving with electro/mechanical assemblies
• Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams

Responsibilities

• Influence Product Service Life Cycle to optimize service business features
• Build expertise in system operation, integration, and calibrations/diagnostics
• Analyze data and provide detailed plans of action
• Contribute to spares obsolescence risk analysis and mitigation initiatives
• Perform hands-on work for system integration and serviceability validation
• Contribute to service alert meetings and knowledge databases
• Resolve a wide range of issues in creative and practical ways
• Travel domestic and foreign up to 25%
