RF System Integration Engineer - Cellular

Job Description

Join Apple's System RF group as an RF System Integration Engineer to contribute to the design and characterization of wireless systems across Apple's products.

Requirements

• BSEE with 5+ years of experience in RFHW/RFSW/Antenna design
• Solid understanding of RF fundamentals and communications theory
• Experience programming in C/C++ with good object-oriented design principles
• Good understanding of RF metrics and knowledge of cellular standards including LTE and 5G

Responsibilities

• Authoring scalable software in C/C++ for controlling wireless chipsets and instrumentation
• Developing algorithms and solutions to validate and characterize RF/wireless system performance
• Reviewing data with cross-functional teams to analyze wireless performance issues
• Designing experiments to understand the impact of RF impairments
• Creating test plans for production and manufacturing lines to guarantee quality and performance
• Partnering with operations and factory engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes
• International and domestic travel is required (~15%)
