Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Description

Apple is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to work on low-level code, test frameworks, and hardware/software interactions for the next-generation mobile products.

Requirements

• BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Strong programming skills in C and Python (or similar)
• Solid background in embedded system architecture and software development

Responsibilities

• Work with low level device drivers, firmware, and test scripts
• Design targeted test cases to exercise silicon designs and digital interconnects
• Debug IO devices, functional units, and high-speed interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to isolate, reproduce, and drive closure on complex system-level problems
