Senior Director - Operational Excellence, Engineering and Maintenance

Job Description

Elanco is seeking a Senior Director for Operational Excellence, Engineering, and Maintenance at their Clinton Laboratories site.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in engineering, maintenance, or operations in a regulated manufacturing environment
• At least 7 years of people leadership with proven responsibility for site-level strategy and cross-functional influence
• Strong strategic planning, people development, and cross-functional leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and strategic leadership across engineering, maintenance, reliability, process automation, and capital project delivery
• Lead the site’s Operational Excellence program, driving lean transformation, productivity, and business continuity
• Develop and execute cGMP compliance initiatives, lean manufacturing transformations, and cost-reduction programs
• Lead development, coaching, and succession planning for future leaders
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, global best practices, HSE regulations, and business processes
• Oversee strategic and business planning processes including annual cost savings initiatives and site-wide continuous improvement efforts
