Senior Platform Safety Analysis Engineer, DRIVE Platforms - Autonomous Vehicles

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking engineers to lead the development of safe, AI-powered autonomous driving platforms with a focus on functional safety of compute, communications, and software platforms.

Requirements

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in systems architecture or related fields
• Experience with safety analysis methods for complex software and hardware platforms
• Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO/PAS 21448
• Experience in redaction of safety requirements in an agile environment

Responsibilities

• Derive Compute Platform Safety Requirements through analysis of Technical Safety Requirements
• Refine safety architecture by establishing requirement traceability from Application to the DRIVE Platform
• Develop technical safety concepts for Platform software functions
• Ensure integration of Autonomous Driving Applications and platform services meet safety goals
• Find opportunities for innovation and automation to improve efficiency
