Project Engineer, Facilities & Construction

Job Description

The Project Engineer position at Tesla Fremont Construction PMO involves supporting the expansion and upgrades of Fremont Factory Infrastructure through planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Construction, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably in industrial and/or high-tech industries
• Comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods in various disciplines
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling processes for multi-billion dollar facilities
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timelines and aggressive goals

Responsibilities

• Lead site infrastructure planning efforts
• Develop and align project schedules from concept to execution
• Lead risk assessment and contingency planning
• Perform quality reviews of schedules
• Support scheduling system development
• Lead ad-hoc schedule studies and scenario planning
