Controls and Automation Engineer

Job Description

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer to design and develop safety systems for inspection platforms.

Requirements

• 2+ years of programming in Rockwell Studio 5000 or equivalent software
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC systems or equivalent
• Experience working in multi developer teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with excellent design and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop safety systems for inspection platforms using PLC Controls
• Create and maintain electrical and mechanical schematics
• Develop and install programs using automation software, SCADA software, Python coding languages
• Participate in code and design reviews, test system efficiency, safety, and reliability
• Troubleshoot failures, work with cross-functional teams, occasional global travel
