Job Description

Tesla is seeking a Program Manager Intern to work on design engineering projects from concept to production ramp.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field
• Experience in a fast-paced, NPI, cross-functional team-oriented environment managing programs with a high level of autonomy
• Understanding of new product development cycles and time-to-market criticality
• Ability to grasp complex technical topics and abstract key issues and risks
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Skills with common workplace software for creating and maintaining metrics

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage program feature baselines, scheduling, critical path, and technology risks for execution
• Identify tactical and creative ways to overcome obstacles and meet deadlines
• Develop tools for automating reporting or planning functions for the Technical Programs Management team
• Conduct planning and execution/support of NPI builds
• Communicate key development updates, risks, and timelines cross-functionally and to leadership
