Job Description

The Microsoft Azure Host Networking and Hardware Acceleration team is seeking an early-career Data Scientist I to contribute to extending auto-detection systems, investigating business-critical incidents, and growing as a subject matter expert in kernel-level networking operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience
• Experience debugging, supporting, or managing production servers
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Develop LLM based solutions for expert recommendation systems
• Draw conclusions from novel network trace data
• Drive insights from process data
• Take ownership and drive mission critical customer escalations
• Embody culture and values
