Interiors Test Engineer, Semi

Job Description

Join Tesla's Engineering Test Team to support component and system level testing of interiors vehicle systems from concept through program release.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Test experience from school projects, internships, or other relevant experience
• Experience with sensors and data acquisition systems
• Experience with CAD and fixture design
• Experience with programming and test automation

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on component and system level R&D
• Work with engineers to support Design Validation Plan development
• Develop test fixtures using CAD
• Conduct detailed inspections and root cause failures
• Automate testing through script writing
• Investigate test failures and create detailed test reports
• Collaborate with various teams and maintain a clean workspace
