Research Scientist, Robotics Systems

Job Description

Meta Robotics Studios is seeking a Research Scientist to lead concept innovation, design, and development of novel robotics design and development projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years experience in Robotics, Electro-Mechanical Design, Sensor & Communications, or a similar field
• PhD degree or equivalent experience in Robotics, Physical AI, or a similar field
• Experience designing complex electromechanical assemblies
• Experience with organizational and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct research advancing novel robotics design and development
• Drive the Robotics roadmap for novel robotic architectures
• Design and develop mechanical and electrical components for robotics
• Perform experiments on real and simulation robotic systems
• Develop novel sensors and communication hardware/firmware
• Research and develop planning and control algorithms for robotics systems
