Job Description

Apple is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join the Strategic Data Solutions team, responsible for fraud prevention and analytics using massive amounts of data.

Requirements

• Mastery of Python, Java, Scala, C++, or equivalent language
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering/data science
• Experience building data science or data analysis tools on Hadoop/cloud based systems
• BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing production software for preventing fraud
• Leading system architecture design
• Driving infrastructure development with external teams
• Recognizing automation and tools improvement opportunities
• Implementing process improvements for efficiency in fraud analytics
• Providing technical leadership for a data science team
• Increasing maturity and skill in analytical software development
• Leading release engineering efforts
