AIML - ML Research Engineer, UI Understanding

Job Description

Join the UI Understanding team within AIML at Apple as a ML Research Engineer to work on understanding, interacting with, evaluating, and generating user interfaces using machine learning technologies.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years practical experience in software development
• Experience engineering production software systems on mobile devices; especially on Apple platforms
• Ability to be self-directed and handle competing demands from multiple simultaneous projects
• Experience in building early stage products, and making them robust and scalable

Responsibilities

• Building machine learning technologies to understand, interact with, evaluate and generate user interfaces
• Collaborating with ML Research Scientists, Software Engineers, and other specialists
• Implementing and delivering UI Understanding technologies into tools and products
• Collaborating with partner teams across Apple to ship internal tools and external products
