Job Description

Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced application developer to join their Transaction Banking team and work on building a market-leading payment platform for corporate clients.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience using a modern programming language (preferably Java)
• Experience leveraging test-driven development methodologies
• Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience of Scrum/Kanban)
• SQL/RDBMS Skills as required
• Team oriented; strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated
• Must be passionate about technology and engineering

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing software implementations to identify areas of improvement and construct roadmap for implementing new features
• Establish trusted partnerships with peers, product heads, and executive level stakeholders
• Leverage technology to deliver business value
• Collaborate with global cross functional teams in building customer-centric products
• Utilize exceptional analytical skills and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
