Research Scientist Intern, Modern Recommendation Systems (PhD)

Job Description

Meta is seeking Research Interns to join the 'Modern Recommendation Systems' (MRS) AI Innovation Center. The interns will work on developing AI models to improve recommendations across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, or a relevant technical field
• Experience with Python and machine learning libraries such as Pytorch
• Familiarity with AI/ML modeling techniques and building systems based on machine learning and/or deep learning methods

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead efforts towards long-term research goals in recommendation systems and models
• Conduct original research that can be applied to product development
• Design, train, and support video understanding libraries and models
• Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners
