Software Engineer (HW/SW Co-Design)

Job Description

Meta is seeking a software engineer to drive the definition of next-generation compute and storage platforms, influencing industry partners' roadmaps and building efficient systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience with hardware architecture, compute technologies, and/or storage systems

Responsibilities

• Utilize extensive understanding of hardware architecture to identify bottlenecks and collaborate with software product teams
• Develop benchmarks to capture fleet requirements and analyze workloads
• Identify hardware/software co-design opportunities based on industry trends
• Influence vendor hardware roadmap to align with Meta's requirements
• Contribute to publications in leading conferences and open-source projects
