Job Description

Join Apple Services Engineering (ASE) Data Platform team to design and build a scalable big-data platform used across Apple, involving high-performance systems and creative problem-solving.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data processing frameworks and applications on cloud-based infrastructure
• Strong programming expertise in Go, Java, Scala, and scripting languages
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Experience with containerization and orchestration
• Ability to design large-scale, complex applications with excellent run-time characteristics
• Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-performance systems handling millions of online events and queries daily
• Building and supporting critical infrastructure and frameworks for services like storage, caching, queueing, searching, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Cloud infrastructure solutions into Data platform products and services
