Senior Software Engineer - Apple Distributed Storage (Object Store)

Job Description

Apple is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to design and build the next version of the Apple Object Store, a massive scale storage system crucial for data storage across Apple.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• At least 10 years of experience building and operating software systems
• At least 5 years of experience building and operating distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining software and services to enhance feature set, availability, scalability, and security of Apple's internal cloud infrastructure
• Collaborating with internal teams and storage SRE team
• Building testable, maintainable code
