Job Description

Configuration Tools Engineers at Apple are responsible for developing automation to improve the build system that delivers Apple software to customers.

Requirements

• macOS, iOS, or UNIX development experience
• Programming in Python or Swift

• Plan and develop automation for scale, security, and UX improvements
• Evaluate tradeoffs and align on best solutions with stakeholders
• Utilize data to ensure best possible solutions
• Gather requirements and communicate strategy for enabling Software Engineering's features
• Work with operational team to ensure deployment and ongoing use of automation
• Track KPIs ensuring success enabling Apple’s ongoing development
