Manager, Broadcast Engineering

Job Description

Netflix is seeking a Manager of Broadcast Engineering to lead a team in designing, constructing, and maintaining the global broadcast infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in management or supervisory roles in Broadcast Engineering
• Experience with advanced broadcast technologies such as ST-2110, NMOS, PTP, JPEG-XS, UHD, HDR workflows, SRT, AVC/HEVC, Zixi
• Deep expertise in broadcast workflow technology and concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Lead the team designing and deploying broadcast infrastructure and operations centers
• Collaborate with various teams and partners to support live broadcasts
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously
• Maintain production and technical infrastructures, equipment, and communication systems
• Represent Netflix in live production-focused partnerships and manage broadcast needs
