Fire Protection Engineer - Los Angeles Area, California

Job Description

Arcadis is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join their Places Design & Engineering group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facility design and will lead the fire protection discipline of multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in mechanical or fire protection engineering with at least 9 years of experience
• Fire Protection Professional Engineering Licensure in the United States
• Extensive experience producing IFC design packages for federal agency facilities
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external team members

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff
• Develop budgets, proposals, schedules, project and staffing plans
• Fluency in design and modeling software
• Travel to project sites for fire protection site surveys
• Skilled in designing fire protection systems in various facilities
