Product Design Engineer - Softgoods

Job Description

Apple is seeking a highly motivated product design engineer to work on innovative new products using soft goods materials.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in production part design utilizing a variety of engineering materials
• Good engineering fundamentals
• 3D and 2D CAD skills (NX preferred)
• Solid verbal and written presentation skills
• Experience using spreadsheets to analyze engineering data
• Experience engaging with manufacturers
• Creative problem solving skills

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, validate, and launch new products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Perform engineering analyses on designs
• Assemble prototypes and support engineering builds
• Solve problems on the assembly line
